DELIVERY CHARGES

For the time being the Delivery charges for any products ordered from SYRetail.co.uk will be applied as follows: -  

Small Items:  £2.55 per item – Each additional item £1.00 each

Small Value Items: £5.50 per item – Each additional item £2.00 each

Standard Items: £10 per item – Each Additional item £2.50 each

Large Items:  £20 per item – Each Additional Items £10 each

NB: All delivery charges are exclusive of VAT at the standard rate. SY Retail publishes the weight of any particular item as part of the product description.

Delivery Categories

Small items

Any single product that has a value of less than £50 and a weight (including packaging) of not more than 150gms will be charged at this rate. For each additional item in this category that forms part of the same order a lower supplementary charge will be applied. Any item with a weight of more than 150gms will not be classified as a ‘Small Item’ irrespective of its value.

Small value items

Any single product that has a value of more than £50 and a weight (including packaging) of not more than 150gms will be charged at this rate. For each additional item in this category that forms part of the same order a lower supplementary charge will be applied. Any item that has a weight of more than 150gms will not be classified as a ‘Small value Item’ irrespective of its value.

Standard items

Any single product that has a weight (including packaging) of not less than 150gms and not more than 15Kgs, irrespective of it’s value, will be charged at this rate. For each additional item in this category that forms part of the same order a lower supplementary charge will be applied.

Large Items

Any single product that has a weight (including packaging) greater than 15Kgs. will be charged at this rate. For each additional item in this category that forms part of the same order a lower supplementary charge will be applied.

CARRIER

All shipments from SYRetail will be sent by Royal Mail or A Courier service nominated by SYRetail. All shipments (except Small items), will require a signature from the receiving party when a shipment is successfully delivered.

DELIVERY ADDRESS (Credit/Debit Card purchases)

You may choose a different address from your cardholder address for the delivery of items purchased from SYRetail, but SYRetail reserves the right not to deliver to such an address. In such circumstances, you will be given the opportunity to accept delivery at your cardholder address or to cancel the order. We recommend that you register any alternative delivery address with your Card issuer, to avoid any possible delays in processing your order.

CALCULATION OF DELIVERY CHARGES

Single Product Orders

When a single product is ordered from SYRetail, the charges will be calculated as per the Delivery Category assigned to that product.

Multiple Product Orders

When a single order contains more than one product, the delivery charge for the product with the highest delivery tariff will become the basis for the delivery charges applied to the remainder of the items in that order. The maximum delivery charge applicable to any single order is £40.00 (ex VAT).

Example

An order contains two Standard items and one small item.

-           The first Standard item is charged at the full rate - £10

-          The second Standard item is charged at the lower supplementary rate - £2.50

-          The Small item is also charged at the lower supplementary rate (for small items) - £1.00

The total delivery charges would be £13.50

Delivery Charges on Part Shipment of Orders

SYRetail will not part ship orders. If a customer places an order with multiple products, dispatch of that order from SYRetail will not take place until the entire order can be fulfilled. The product with the longest stated lead-time will govern the delivery period for the entire order. You may choose to avoid any delay to your chosen products, by creating more than one order. Please bear in mind that each order will then have delivery charges applied on a per order basis.
