Digital Magic - Booster Unit

Digital Magic MBS is a hardware based system that does not require any driver or other network (e.g. NOVELL, Windows NT etc.) to operate. Just plug and play, i.e. no memory space , no jumper settings, no DMA or I/O is used by any of the attached PC's. Thus, conflicts on the system do not exist. This means any O/S and application software can be installed using any network.
The System requires one Teacher Console, one Booster Unit and one Student Unit for every two student computers attached to the system.

Features

Support to set up eight groups of students for a large classroom, and each group can be connected to as many as 10 Student Computers using a daisy chain of CAT5e-STP patch cables.
Each daisy chain can be a maximum of 30 metres in length.

Considerations For Use

CAT5e STP patch cables to connect the system modules are not supplied with this system.
The System requires a Teacher Console, a Booster Unit and a Student Unit for every two student computers.
Each Student unit can support two student computers with full multimedia connections.
Up to 8 groups of ten student computers can be controlled by the Teacher Console unit.
