Digital Magic - Student Unit

Digital Magic MBS is a hardware based system that does not require any driver or other network (e.g. NOVELL, Windows NT etc.) to operate. Two Computers can be attached to each Student Unit. Just plug and play, i.e. no memory space , no jumper settings, no DMA or I/O is used by any of the attached PC's. Thus, conflicts on the system do not exist. This means any O/S and application software can be installed using any network.
The System requires one Teacher Console, one Booster Unit and one Student Unit for every two student computers attached to the system.

Features

-1 line-in, 1 help, 2 microphone and 2 headphone jacks, enable two students to share one PC.
- Bus cable in/ out ports; keyboard, mouse and monitor interface ports for student's PC.
- This gives each student computer attached to the system full multimedia capability.
- An option for a seperate broadcast monitor allows the Teacher to broadcast to the whole class without interrupting the students display.

Considerations For Use

CAT5e STP patch cables to connect the system modules are not supplied with this system.
The System requires a Teacher Console, a Booster Unit and a Student Unit for every two student computers.
Each Student unit can support two student computers with full multimedia connections.
Up to 8 groups of ten student computers can be controlled by the Teacher Console unit.
