CatX Data Tx is a VGA and serial data transmitter unit. Connected to the video and serial output of a PC, this unit may be used in conjunction with either CatX Data Rx or CatXQ Data Rx unit. These units are ideal for use with touch screen systems over 120m or 300m of Cat5/6 cable.

Features

Transmits SVGA video up to 300m

The CATX Video unit is specifically designed to transmit the video signal from a PC to any VGA video display unit, including CRT, LCD, TFT and Plasma screens, up to a distance of 300 metres.
SVGA Output up to 1600 x 1200

Compatible with all VGA standards, CatX Data Tx in conjunction with a Data receiver, can provide a very high quality video over Cat5/5e/6 cabling.

Serial Data connection for touch screens

This useful feature means a touch screen can be located remote from the attached PC.

Simple to install and easy to use

All CatX units can be installed quickly and easily. The controls are all on the receiver units, so adjustments can be made whilst viewing the remote display.

Compact and lightweight

All CatX units have been styled with metal casing, yet designed to be compact and lightweight. As such they can be easily fitted and secured in environments with limited space.

Considerations For Use

This unit requires a receiver unit to operate CatX Data Tx will work in combination with any of the following Receiver units

CatX Data Rx for distances up to 120m

CatXQ Data Rx for distances up to 300m (includes XSQ™ technology for skew correction)
