CATX Console

The CATX Console is a KVM extender that allows a console (Keyboard, Video and Mouse) to be up to 120 Metres from a computer. The transmission medium is CAT5/6 UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable.

Features

Optional Keyboard, monitor and mouse to be attached to the transmitter unit
The user may wish to have access to the remote computer, from the transmitter as well as the receiver unit. The user can also program both Privacy and a Share option for security purposes.

Locks out console on receiver unit when using the console on the transmitter unit. When both the transmitter and the receiver units have consoles attached, it may be desirable to control access to the receiver console when the console at the transmitter end is in use. A Privacy option is used when accessing the computer from the transmitter unit.

CATX Console supports scroll mouse features on most models of mouse.
Full emulation of keyboard and mouse
Prevents system failure if UTP cable is disconnected. CATX Console transmitter and receiver units have full emulation of keyboard and mouse, allowing any attached computers to boot in the background. If for any reason the UTP cable becomes detached
Video quality up to 1024 x 768 (72Hz) at 120 Metres
CATX Console will produce quality video images at distances between 50 Metres and 120 Metres. The best quality video display can be achieved by using the fine tune feature on the CATX Console. A resolution of 1024 x 768 at 72Hz is usual at 120 Metres.
Includes Audio full stereo
CATX deluxe includes transmission of Audio over the UTP cable.
