CatX Universal Tx 2

CatX Universal Tx 2 is a universal transmitter unit that is used in conjunction with any of the Console or Supervisor Rx units, resulting in a very cost effective and flexible system. It can be attached to two seperate remote receiver units. Each Receiver may be located in two different locations, for complete flexibility of access. It can be attached to a single computer or KVM switch for remote access to multiple PC's or servers. A console (keyboard, Video and Mouse) can also be attached to this unit for local access.

SVGA Output up to 1600 x 1200
All CatX units are designed to output SVGA at 1024 x 768 up to 300m. Higher resolutions may be achievable at shorter distances

Dual remote Console access for added flexibilty Where access is required at two seperate locations, remote from the TX 2 unit, giving additional flexibility. Two remote consoles may be attached for access from the host. One remote console may be selected only

Local Console access for added flexibilty Where The attached PC or KVM Switch is some distance from the Rx unit, a local console may be attached for acces from either the host or remote access locations

Access by TWO remote Console/Supervisor units
Universal Tx 2 has to RJ45 outputs for connection to TWO shared remote receiver units. Either one of these units may be used to access a PC,Server or KVM switch attached to×the Universal Tx 2 transmitter. Access is allowed from one remote receiver unit at a time.

Provides local stereo audio output and microphone input
This useful feature means local speakers and microphone can be used from either the Tx or Rx unit

Powered by the attached PC or KVM switch**
This unit is powered via the keyboard connection of either the attached PC or KVM switch

Compatible with enhanced keyboards and wheel mice
Compatible with all IBM PS2 based Operating Systems

Completely hardware based, no additional software required

** Not all KVM switches provide power from the keyboard socket. In those instances where the KVM switch does not provide power, a power supply must be used to power the CatX Universal Tx unit

CatXQ Console Rx - Receiver unit for console only with XSQ™ technology up to 300m
CatX Supervisor Rx - Receiver unit with KVM switch and local PC up to 120m
