 CatX Data Rx is a VGA and serial data receiver unit, used in conjunction with CatX Data Tx. This high quality, yet cost effective unit is ideal for use with touch screen system with up to 120m of Cat5/5e/6 cable.
Please refer to the Considerations for Use section of this product for details of the receiver units that may be used with CatX Data Tx. The choice of receiver unit ensure the most cost effective system for your requirement.
Used with electronics information points that use touch screens as the main human interface. Easy to install with no software required.

The CatX Data Rx unit is specifically designed to provide high quality video as well as high speed data at distances up to 120m.
SVGA output up to 1280 x 1024 75Hz at maximum distance
Designed to provide a sharp high quality video at up to 120m, the unit performs best using low cost Cat5 cabling. Higher resolutions are achievable at shorter distances.
Serial Data connection for touch screens
This useful feature means a touch screen can be located remote from the PC.
Single Power Supply
The CatX Data Rx requires a single 12V mains adapter in order to operate. This may be attached to either the transmitter (Tx) unit or the receiver (Rx) unit, providing even more installation flexibility.
Simple to install and easy to use
All CatX units can be installed quickly and easily. With only a single “distance compensation control” on the Video Data Rx unit, adjustments can be simply made whilst viewing the remote display. No switch settings or complicated set up procedure is required.
Compact and lightweight
All CatX units have been styled with metal casing, yet designed to be compact and lightweight. As such they can be easily fitted and secured in environments with limited space.
