Skew62
XSQ™ technology provides perfect skew delay correction between the Red, Green and Blue VGA signals. This delay is as a direct result of transmitting RGB signals over Cat5/5e/6 cables.
The Cat5e/6 cables are designed with a different number of twists, resulting in different lengths for each twisted pair. When transmitting RGB video signals over these cables, a colour separation occurs, affecting the image quality. This effect is referred to as “Skew”.
The skew level in Cat5 cables is negligible, especially at distances below 100m; however skew can become significant when using Cat5e/6 cables, especially over longer distances.
To correct this effect, SY Electronics has developed XSQ™ technology, a skew correction system, which provides pin sharp images. This technology has been incorporated into all CatXQ products that operate up to 300m. It is also available as a stand-alone product, 'Skew62'. This unit connects to any 15HDD VGA system, eliminating the skew effect within seconds.
Skew62 can be used with ANY brand of Cat5/6 extender.
